Comfy 3bed/2bath with pool close to Downtown

The house was cozy and clean. The pool was screened in, clean, clear and inviting. The kitchen was well stocked with dishes and cutlery. The neighbors were warm and friendly. The location was central to the area s attractions. It was a great experience! We plan to stay there again.

This house looked exactly as listed and was very clean. They were very helpful with any questions and the instructions with check-in, check-out, and everything in between was very clear. The location was also perfect for experiencing downtown and getting to the beach!

Totally enjoyed our visit here. Excellent hosts who are very responsive and attentive. The grounds were well kept the pool and Jacuzzi were awesome. The place is very clean. We would definitely visit this property again. Loved the close proximity to Lido Beach.

My family was in town for a rowing event and found this home to be perfect for us. Communication with the property manager wins easy and they always were super friendly and quick to respond. We would definitely stay here again.

Great location! Perfect size for our family of 6.
We knew when we booked that it wasn’t updated and we were ok with that.
The house was clean but the outside area could really use some cleanup which we cleaned ourselves. I cleaned the concrete area, spider webs and the pine needles from the screened in area and raked the branches and leaves in piles behind the house. It just simply needs some TLC! We aren’t high maintenance people therefore we could tolerate these minor issues. We would rent again.

Hi really liked the place , the rooms are very big, excluding the master bath which is very small. Only issue was the pool. As the weather was very cool for the first two weeks and the pool heater was only on at night , it was not swimmable for the first 2 weeks. The outer yard is not enclosed and could definitely use some maintenance.
Nice on a very quite cul-de-sac , with very nice neighbors, also only a couple blocks from the Trail.

Our stay was great and everything went wonderful! Great communication. The pool settings were not right but she helped us fix that in our first call! Great neighborhood and very quiet. Check-in went great. I gave this house an overall 4 stars because I thought it could use a good cleaning outside and some updates inside. Good place altogether!

We got into the house without any problems. The house was quite clean, cozy, comfortable, everything necessary was there. One plus is that the car can be parked under cover. And also a very good recreation area with a swimming pool.

We enjoyed our stay at this property very much! The pool was a hit and we used it daily after a morning at the beach. The beds were also super comfortable, which is very important to us! The location was great for Siesta Key and Lido. Was a 45 minute drive to Anna Maria. I saw where one review said this place was a dump and that is not the case at all. It does need a couple of small things but it was just as seen in photos. We would stay here again.

Stayed the week and found the pool cleaned and ready to be used. The house is amazing and clean just like in the pictures. Will definitely stay again!

Clara was an amazing host. Very attentive, helpful and friendly. Great location. The furniture and decor are old and sloppy. The sofa and living room chair were old and uncomfortable. The bathroom vanity was broken and unable to use the drawer. The lamp was crumbling before our eyes. There was not much room for a months worth of clothing and no hooks or place to keep towels in bathroom. The bedding was rough and twin bed sheets didn’t fit. The outdoor furniture was very rusty and lounge chair was wet and stained my shorts. A bar broke under one chair. Decor on the walls were old and unsightly. Paint is chipping on exterior and lanai was covered in debris. There pool maintenance man came once a week but never cleaned the ring around the pool…despite our request. Kitchen was well equipped and appliances were nice. The water pressure in showers was great. The room leading to the pool was very nice. Nice stay but expected updates for the price.

Nice comfortable place for our Family of 6. We enjoyed the pool after the weather warmed up to 80 later in the week. The pool is heated but can’t keep up when it gets in 40 at night and 60s in day. Close to Legacy trail that we enjoyed walking each day. We enjoyed Siesta beach, Venice beach and Ringling Museum. The house is older but remodeled on the inside. On a dead-end street so you don’t get a lot of traffic or noise. Clara was really good in keeping in contact with us or if we had problems.

Loved it as always! A pleasure to work with, clean, efficient and accommodating.

Everything was great! Grandma and the girls loved the pool which helped as we cooked dinners. Perfect location to different beaches since we went to 4 different beaches during our stay. I wrote to the host before we left and she was able to give more information about the house which was wonderful and helpful.

It works for the money

We had a great time staying here with our family of six! Pool was a huge plus when kids were done with the beach and wanted to hang out at ‘home’. It had plenty of space and amenities that we needed for our week plus stay. 15 min drive to Siesta Key and proximity to everything else in Sarasota was great.

We loved the house and will try and book again next time we come down!

All in all, we were happy with our rental. The pool was awesome. Rental was clean. Plenty of supplies and towels. All appliances worked well, except the garbage disposal sounded like something was in it, such as metal. Therefore, we didn't use it. The pool cleaning people were supposed to come on Thursday, April 6, but they never showed up during our visit. We would definately use VRBO again.

My husband and I had a wonderful time at Clara’s place with our 2 year old. Great location with lots to do. Perfectly family get away spot.

Our stay at Clara's place was a blast. We had a lot of fun and spent a lot of time by the pool. The description of the placed was accurate. Being close to Downtown meant we tried a lot of different foods with a 20 min drive to Siesta beach. The greatest part of the trip was communication. Whenever I had a question, I received a quick response. Highly recommend staying at 2689 Novus Pl.

My wife and I go to Sarasota every year for Thanksgiving. This was our first time using this property. Great location central to everything you want to do, nice pool, very very quiet neighborhood really enjoyed our stay.

My husband and I thoroughly enjoyed our stay in this well-maintained, clean, fully stocked property. The pool and Jacuzzi were warm and great. The property manager, Clara, was terrific in responding to any questions we had. Although there were only 2 of us, this house is ideal for a family, with 3 nice size bedrooms and 2 full bathrooms. Definitely recommend.

The location was perfect! Close to everything, beautiful beaches, shops, restaurants, supermarkets, trail right behind us, The home was comfortable just what we needed, comfy bed, full equipped kitchen, washer and dryer in a very quiet dead ent st. Clara our host was fantastic with a very prompt response.

Beautiful very clean home. The pool is fabulous but the hot tub isn’t fabulous. The two are tied together and the pool gets too hot if you try to keep the hot tub hot. We would heat up the hot tub and then cut system off so the pool wouldn’t heat up too much. Our host Clara was very quick to respond to any requests. The neighborhood is very nice and it’s on a dead end street so very little traffic. Drive to the beach is short. Shopping and restaurants are close.

Better than the description. Pool was clean and refreshing. Has heating capability too.
Screened in patio is great! No bugs.
Pine trees add a peaceful quietness.
House was clean and well stocked in kitchen. Comfy beds and sofa. Nice dining area in “sunroom”.
Only note: There is a hole in the exterior wooden fence, large enough for a pet to get out (and critters to get in). Backyard has bike trail behind it. Owner has been informed and should be fixing it. Just check beforehand. Don’t want your furry friend to find an “escape”. :o)

My wife and I both work remote so we rented this house for the month of March. The house was just as advertised. We had all the cooking utensils we could have needed. The best part was the very private backyard with hot tub and heated pool. I must also point out that Clara was a wonderful hostess. She was very attentive to all our needs. I would definitely recommend!

Great experience. The house was clean and had all the necessities to be comfortable. The swimming pool in the backyard was perfect for our family. The house is a great location to travel to several different beaches and isn't far from downtown Sarasota.

Clara communicates fast and answers all questions, even with Facetime! The house itself is older and is overpriced for the stay. AC cannot be above 73 degrees, has a few bug issues, and many of the chairs are not stable to sit on. The pool is older and has some age to it in photos and cannot be cooled, so it takes the temperature of the spa. Overall though, it was in a great location in a nice neighborhood. Only 10 minutes from Downtown Sarasota!

Once you are out of toiletries you have to buy your own the air bnb workers don’t provide more after there gone. the inner pot for the crockpot is missing and the washer Machine is really unleveled and makes a really loud noise

This house was the perfect winter beach stay. The Lido beach is about a 15 minute drive and Siesta Key is about 20. Neither were particularly walkable but the Publix (grocery store) was just down the street. The pool is heated with a hot tub so on days where it was too cold for the beach we could just chill at the house. We did have a few issues with the pool but Clara was ready to respond and help. Some supplies were a little low (dishwasher soap, cleaning products, toilet paper, etc) but it didn’t cause too much of an issue. For 6 students on a budget, we got everything we needed.

We loved the pool and hot tub, and the location was great! Only 10-15 minutes from the nearest beaches. The house had everything we needed, and the kitchen had plenty of room to cook our meals. The house was clean and organized, very important for Covid times.

Very clean, and well maintained house. The neighbors were polite and the neighborhood was safe and quiet. Beach chairs and an umbrella were available for use.

Our family stayed here and April and had a fantastic stay. The property itself is in close proximity to everything and located on a very quiet street The pool in the backyard worked out perfect for our kids. There was plenty of room for all of us. The management company was extremely helpful and accommodating, especially Clara. We would stay here again without hesitation and strongly recommend staying here.

The house was absolutely perfect for us! The pool was great, location was fabulous, and the weather was sunny! Definitely recommend this house - especially for families who love to swim.

Great place conveniently located at 15 minutes to Siesta Key,Lido Key.The only thing that would have been better was for Alberto storm to choose a different path,but we were still able to enjoy the beach for some days.

We thoroughly enjoyed our week-long stay here. The definite highlight was the pool and patio area. We used the pool every single day and it stayed at a wonderful 85+ degrees! Unfortunately the hot tub didn't work. The place is very spacious and you really could make it your home for the week. We appreciated the house being stocked with the basics (toilet paper, paper towels, laundry detergent, soap, etc). We had a baby with us and the owner purchased a pack n play just for us which was a wonderful gesture. There are some items for the beach (chairs, umbrella, floaties, sand toys). A few things that made a bad first impression included a hole in the screen, paint peeling off the bathtub and a corroding bbq which rendered it unusable. I'd say the positives far out-weighed the negatives and would recommend the house for those looking for something in a decent location and not ridiculously expensive!

We have enjoyed our stay there and the owners were very accommodating. Will be sure to book it the next time we are in the area.
