Frightfully Fun Trick-Or-Treat Event at UTC
Calling all goblins and ghouls…Join The Mall at University Town Center for a frightfully fun Halloween Trick-or-Treating event! Dress in your favorite costume and follow the Trick-or-Treat Trail throughout the mall, scaring up goodies from your favorite stores along the way. The wicked good-time will also include:
- Fangtastic character meet & greets
- A spooktacular dance party
- Howl-oween bounce houses
- Eerie-sistible crafts, games & more
The event takes place mall-wide & outside at the mall at University Town Center’s East Grand Entrance.
October 29th from 5:30 pm until 7:30 pm.
Lights at Spooky Point
Selby Gardens’ brand-new, Halloween-themed light show will transform Historic Spanish Point campus into “Spooky Point,” where you’ll discover fantastic (but not too scary) creations around every turn. As you follow an eerily lit path through the woods, you’ll encounter flying “ghost orchids,” giant “bat orchids,” dangling “spider orchids,” vine-twisted skeletons, and more. There will also be plenty of pumpkins and more surprises along the way, with a hay maze at the end of this family-friendly adventure.
Food and beverages will be available for purchase, including fall favorites like candy apples, popcorn, and hot cocoa.
Guests under the age of 18 must be accompanied by an adult ticket holder.
Every night at 6:30 and 7:45p.m until October 31st.
Boo! At The Bazaar
The Bazaar on Apricot & Lime will celebrate Halloween at its usual market spot. Kids can go trick-or-treating through the vendor sports. Costumes are encouraged. Get free Halloween air brush tattoos. Live music by Tyler Vaden and a special performance from Dingbat Theatre Project’s new musical SpongeBob. Admission is free.

14th Annual Dog Halloween Festival
The Annual Dog-A-Ween costume contest returns to the Sarasota Farmers Market Halloween Festival. All proceeds benefit the Donte’s Den Foundation. Guest moderator will be Tyler Butler with Out & About. After the event dogs in costume can go to Wet Noses with their human to pick out a free toy donated by Wet Noses.
October 29th from 9am – Fee $15
Sarasota Ghost Tour
Steel your nerves with a glass of wine before boarding Discover Sarasota Tours’ haunted trolly ride “Mummies, Murder & Mayhem.” On the journey, which winds through darkened streets, guests hear eerie tales of possessed buildings, restless souls and true crime. From the spirited host, learn about sordid subjects such as the Sarasota Assassination Society and the fate of postmaster Charles Abbe. Riders will encounter special theatrical appearances by phantom hitchhikers the tour picks up along the way. Prizes are awarded for the best costume on each tour.
Additional tours have been added for Halloween on the evenings until October 31st at 7 p.m. and 8 p.m.
Gator Club’s Annual Halloween Block Party
The Gator Club’s Halloween block party runs from 6 p.m.-2 a.m. The event will feature a DJ indoors and live music both indoors and outside. There will also be food trucks and vendors. This event is 21-plus. Outdoor admission is free; indoor admission is $20.
